  1. I got to say it’s an interesting pick up. He can definitely make a positive impact. They have players that can cover for his lack of outside shooting,

  2. No! Westbrook has never moved the needle for any team that he's been on. Good player, but not a difference maker.

  3. I played with a similar (but much worse) style of player in my team back in the day.. and he was supposed to be the star, but we kept losing.
I always joked it is because – yeah he scores 30 points, but he misses on 300 points.

Russ, plays hard.. but he seems like not a fun teammate to play with.
I am not a PG13 fan, but side note, he single-handedly killed that one season PG13 had an MVP caliber season

  4. Dan Patrick need to retire. He kept looking at Russell's stats on his phone like he hadn't really been paying attention to his career all this time. No, he hasn't been a winner just like his OKC cohort Harden, but guess what? Durant, being considered one of the best all round players EVER, hasn't exactly done a whole lot of winning when it comes to the only thing that matters, titles. That said, in 90 games with the Clips, Westbrook has average, in 24 MPG, 12/4.9/5.1 and 1 steal and shot 51.5% on 2 point shooting. If you look at Damien Lillard's offensive numbers in 73 games and 35.3MPG last year the ONLY thing that he clearly beats Westbrook in, quite obviously, is 3PT shooting. He was worse in 2PT%, RPG per 36MPG and just about the same in APG per 36 MPG. So, Westbrook is anything but washed up and WILL be a positive for the Nuggets.

  5. Sick of hearing how hard he plays and he’s so competitive. The guy is not a smart player, goes full tilt but can’t think while playing that fast, and he does seem like a terrible teammate. But….. when you’ve made $300MM + in your career, you can take dumps on 98% of the league and do you.. next subject

  6. I don't know why teams keep thinking they can replace elite 3&D wings with Westbrook and win a championship.

  7. I'm surprised you're saying the Nuggets will go deep in the Playoffs, after they lost role players & only added an old Westbrook. Assuming they turn the 2nd team over to Westbrook, I still don't see the Nuggets getting outta the 2nd round

  8. If you have the opportunity to grab a future hall of famer like Mr.TripleDouble Russell Westbrook for the veteran league minimum… omg you Deff do that !!!

  9. I like & root for the Nuggets but they have NOT gotten better this offseason…as of July 20th '24

  10. This media talking heads blame Denver for not doing anything, dont know how things work and how cap works. They couldn't sign anyone even their offer for Kcp wasnt bigger then Orlando offer. Porter contract doesn't let them do anything and other teams know how bad is that contract.

  11. Man, Jokic is in a bad organization. They let KCP, Bruce Brown, Jeff Green all go but gave Nnaji a huge contract!!!!

  12. some of these takes are going to age badly

Russ is not replacing KCP. Christian Braun is already here to replace KCP, Russ is replacing Reggie Jackson.

Nuggets also added Dario Saric, a stretch big who will fit in very well into the system. 6’7 shooting guard Julian Strawther is in his second season after a great rookie season got derailed with an injury. He looked awesome in summer league and will be great on the bench. Nuggets are going to be elite
