Kudos to Coach Kerr for acknowledging that he, the coaching staff and players, weren’t prepared. The game of basketball, globally, has changed and evolved so much since the years of the original Dream Team. I mean no disrespect to Americans but you’re not going to always be the best in world. In saying that I pretty much think this will be a wake up call to the US national team. Good luck to all the teams competing in this years Olympic Games.

Steve is just another clueless guy who should build a Steph statue in his driveway. Klay, Draymond and so on, build Steph statues in your driveways, pay Steph 10% of your income and keep quiet. Nobody would know who any of you are today had you not ended up on the same team with Steph.
Steve Kerr is a great coach but I'm sure difficult to meld this team of established All-Star players in such a short period of time. As a 76er's fan am a bit worried about Joel Embiid. He doesn't seem to be moving like his normal (healthy..) self (& wish that Tyrese Maxey was somewhere in the lineup 🙄). Totally understand the caution with Kevin Duran due to his injury history (watched him go down in the playoffs & know he gives max. effort..), but as the expression goes 'Can't help the club in the tub'.
" I did not do a good job of preparing this team" O B V I O U S LY !!! Everybody makes a big deal that the US has such an enormous advantage in talent. No one mentions the fact that our coaching stinks compared to other countries. A National embarrassment.
This is a coach that has never had to be creative and truly intelligent to win. Dude has been gifted with world class talent at every turn and job he's had.
