We’re winning the chip guys 😤 hang the banner

Such a fun team, it seems every year we have a pretty good summer league team that’s fun to watch (outside that one year with javonte smart).

Christopher, stevens and Johnson should be the two ways. Hope we keep josh

Josh can get a spot on this team idc about low iq he pelle Steven’s saved us down the stretch

This game had no business being as good as it was.

Good back-and-forth play through all 4 quarters. That Warriors team is good for SL. Our young guns are out here playing against 6-year NBA veteran Kevin Knox going off for 30 and holding their own continuing to battle. Thought we were cooked down 10 in the 3rd Q but we chipped away at the lead.

Credit to Ware for stepping up in the 4th Q after a quieter game, Larsson for the HUGE 3, and Christopher who hit the Kobe-esque shot falling away for the and-1 late when both sides were hitting clutch bucket after clutch bucket late.

Ware isn’t getting rotation minutes next season

    Fantastic game.

Larsson showed a little bit of everything today like he’s been doing most of this Summer league.

Stevens played 36 minutes of pretty great basketball, I’m insanely impressed with this kid

Josh Christopher continues to be an offensive staple for this team.

Ware had a very up and down game, but his highs far outweighed the lows. (Had a very big 4th quarter in limited time)

Swider is out, I’m tired of watching this dude.

Daniels plays with so much grit and intensity, just needs to work on his offensive game.

I like A. Williams as a nice spark plug type of player.

Can someone explain why we’ve been beating everyone? I haven’t really been following too hard other than looking at some box scores. I know ware has been good but what’s been the key to why we’re dominating?

  8. Losing to kevin fucking Knox would’ve been my 9/11

  9. This game showed Ware’s weaknesses. His defense and rebounding was absent against a bigger, stronger center, as was him rim finishing dominance, similar to the first GSW game. This is why people say he needs more weight/strength.

  10. at one point pelle was the tallest guy on the court. that shit was annoying

Man why the hell did Riley waste the 14th roster spot on thomas bryant? now we gotta drop at least two of stevens/williams/jaygup/keshad/daniels smh

Not going to lie. This would make my summer lol

Lmao Kevin Knox played and they still lost? 😅😅😅

Looking at the game, Ware was fine, it seemed more like a one off. And even then we have 2 months til training camp, enough time for Ware to be stronger. We chillin rn

How is Knox still playing summer league games

I was very impressed by Ware ***because*** he had an uneven game. He’s the youngest player on the court at 20

But he showed up when it went down to the wire – against some much more mature and older basketball players.

I mean, looking at his basketball history, this might be the highest pressure game he’s ever played in. And he came to play even if the competition was older and stronger.

Kevin Knox has been in the NBA for 6 seasons. Pat Spencer is 28. Jackson Rowe is 27. Quentin Post was a 5th year senior and is 24.

All of the young guys on the Heat were super impressive ***because*** their competition was so much more mature. And the Heat’s younger players were the best ones on the team.

If Spo refuses to play any of the younger guys, it wouldn’t surprise me. It’s what he does. But I think it would be a mistake. These young guys are super talented for their age and experience. And it would be a very Miami Heat type of mistake to refuse to give them NBA minutes simply because they haven’t mastered NBA basketball yet.

No young player who has yet to play real minutes has mastered NBA basketball. And they won’t ever master it if their team refuses to give them real minutes. Just look at Kobe’s rookie season for God’s sake.
