Sengun (on the question of who challenged him the most in the league): In my first year in the league, the Knicks’ center Mitchell Robinson totally shut me down. He played defense so well that I couldn’t move.

It is in Turkish but I wanted to translate this part of the interview because, amid the recent debates about center position, we’ve forgotten how good of a defender Mitchell is. I hope he stays healthy this season and makes the All-Defensive Team. We don’t have much home grown talent anymore.

I hope the universe will allow Mitch to go beast mode and stay healthy all year.He made a top big man duo of Mobley and Allen look like high schoolers in the 23 playoffs.Dude was flying in from all angles getting boards and putbacks.

Mitch is both a better fit and higher impact player than IHart. That’s why he started. The only problem (duh) is he can’t stay healthy and availability matters.
I hope we trade for Steve Adam’s in DEC and Mitch/Adam’s is our center rotation. That’s nasty
TimeTravelingTiddy
But he had more pts, rbs and asts than Mitch

If Mitch stays healthy, dear God we are gonna be good!
