The more i study his game, the more i like what he brings to the Rockets. 6’8 team basketball oriented player that can shoot and lives for the big moments. Not the most athletic but plays smart basketball and can be a real connective glue for this team.
I think him and Reed especially are going to have great chemistry on offense but the best thing i think he brings to us outside of his shooting is his ability to rise to the big moments. I saw us shrink in some big moments last season but McVeigh plays fearlessly and i think that can be contagious for the young guys. He’s also great at setting screens, cutting, and moving off ball to get his shot. Very Steph Curry like imo
What do y’all think? He’ll probably start off in the G-league next year but I personally can’t wait to see him on the court with the main guys ✊🏾

Been a mcveigh follower since his days as a Cornhusker… I don’t think he will get any meaningful minutes, although I am wishing for an absolute beauty
