Although he had a down year with the Nets, Dinwiddie averaged 6.8/2.4/1.7 while shooting 39% from 3 for the Lakers off the bench. A talented playmaker and sharpshooter, Spencer would work great as a spark plug and insurance for missed Kyrie/Luka games. Despite what people think he’s actually a good defender when he gives effort, as he’s still 6’6 with a lengthy wingspan and pretty athletic. I wanted DSJ, but I’m happy with Spence. Mama’s always right!

I think we should know lol. He was a key piece in our 22 run

In our system he was excellent. Heās something we donāt have quick release, good driver and a decent playmaker. He sat in corners with Luka and ate he still seems to have the same skill set.
This team is so fucking deep Iām excited, we might look like the greatest 3pt shooting team ever lmao. We already took the most attempts, now we have shooters everywhere.

Spence-Exum-Grimes-Naji-Gaff is actually a backup unit that seems to fit nicely together. Talk about depth for days

Iāve seen some Laker fans mention that he was their best POA defender last year, which wasā¦interesting. I never got that impression while he was with us. But if itās true, then cool.

Irrational confidence guy. Let’s see if he still has it

I think Dennis made way more sense, but Spence is familiar with the system and played alongside Kyrie before, so itās not surprising that this happened. Hopefully he can recapture some of his 2022 self back here

Two years ago, he was debatably our 2nd best player? Now he is our 3rd or 4th guard. THANK YOU NICO.

When I talked about him being the one missing piece last season this sub torched me. We forgot so quickly how he was averaging 17 per game for us. He would have been the only other person on the team besides KY and Luka who could create their on shot, and get to the basket. We could have really used that in the playoffs but I’m glad we got em now.

I used to serve his parents regularly, they are so sweet.

He’s hot when we had him.

I mean besides Luka and Brunson, 3nwiddie also committed unspeakable crimes in that Game 7 against the Suns

This is an excellent pickup that was needed. An experienced point guard that can score. Luka or Kyrie will be eased into the beginning of this season so it will give Spencer lots of playing time. But,after the ALL-STAR break,His minutes will be low unless Luka or Kyrie are hurt around that time. I just don’t think we have enough to beat a healthy Boston team though š¤
