Team USA is probably going to win the gold medal at the Paris Olympics, but their close calls against Germany and South Sudan have exposed a couple of stylistic issues that can be fixed … if they take some advice from the Boston Celtics. Seeing this quote floating around supposedly from when Lefraud won the bronze. Something to the effect of "When I was standing on that podium I was thinking what a waste of time-I'll never play for Team USA again." Any idea how accurate that is John? Anyway it's weird "rooting" for him but I really want to see JT, Jrue and White get that gold and cap off a fantastic year for all of them. 🎖
Jrue Holiday is one of my favorite players because he does whatever is needed. No ego. The ultimate teammate. Happy to see him on the world stage where others can see how great he is.

How come KD hasn't been playing?
I really hate how inconsistent Tatum is. He's going to have to tighten up if we're going to repeat.
It's hard to generate drive and kick threes at the FIBA level when the court is a lot smaller. It's a lot easier to closeout to shooters so there needs to be more player/ball movement.
1. Coaching has surpassed Kerr the last couple years. Every guy on that team have at some point ran far more complicated offenses than this. Using isolation when you have world class passers, shooters, and big men down low truly is beyond me.
2. The hate for the Celtics was not only unwarranted but has now just become cringe inducing. It’s like the old saying “why hate from outside the club when you can’t get in”.
3. What we already knew from watching this past Olympics. Everyone is gunning for you, it’s not a joke like it used to be anymore. If you sing up to play in the Olympics don’t bring your average practice game, bring that playoff energy.
