Hot take: bulls fans (like me) have really been the reason for mediocrity and lack of effort on the bulls side of things because, when the fans will support this team, show up to games, buy merchandise, why even try to change this roster around? As long as they are making money, they could really care less about the actual success of this team. If we want to see real changes, we need to stop supporting this team as much as we do.
Maybe DJ Steward could play some minutes instead of getting another player in free agency
My hot take is Giddey is going to have the best season of his career in 2025 and the Bulls will make the true playoffs.
Okoro is basically the same player as Bruce brown. A good defender and a nice ball mover and glue guy.
I would love to get cedi osman. He shoots 3, can drive to the rim, can make good passes to hit the open man, and plays some ok defense. He is a very good role player. He is a guy that can score 16ppg if he got the chance. But he can get you 10pts off the bench with limited touches. I would rather have him than any other player on our bench. He's just better at what he does.
We need to trade Vucevic….That should be #1 priority. Achiuwa would be a decent pickup since he is cheap and could play backup 5. And is young and could play quick pace basketball.
Hot take: If bulls can get rid of Vucevic and play an uptempo basketball they could win 45 games and be the 6th seed in a top heavy east.
We're in danger of losing our pick to the Spurs if Lavine and Vooch play meaningful minutes for us.
Hot take: Kofi Cockburn is playing for less than a mill in Korea. Former U of I monster. Not the quickest feet but he's hard to stop. I think he's worth a cheap contract to bring him back to Illinois.
