They’re not worried about it right now. I know it’s more prohibited with the new CBA trying to get off deals and you can’t take back more money, you can’t aggregate contracts, it’ll be tough to get off this money but the fact of the matter is they can do it if they have to, they can shed, there will be teams that want these players.

brads moves have been fantastic, but these extensions are more of an ownership thing. next year is when the bill comes do. Thats when we will see just how great he is.

I said it before and I'll say it again…. This is maybe Wyc's way of discouraging potential buyers and investors. With Horford's contract coming off the books, should he retire after this upcoming season and the Tax Aprons going up by a projected 20% annually, the Cs may just have to pay the fines for 2 years and come out under it in 2027 or 2028 if they do choose to trade some players for lesser contracts down the line. By then, maybe Wyc can get enough money and investors to be the majority owner of the Cs.
Brad's next BIG move, not this year but down the line, is to trade for Lauri Markkanen and / or Cooper Flagg.
