[Moss] absolutely no disrespect to Steve Kerr — legacy cemented, but this isn’t a NBA season and Erik Spoelstra should be Team USA’s HC. one of the best in-game adjusters the game has ever seen and that’s monumental in the Olympics. he’d be up there with Coach K (as Team USA HCs)

Curry would have 7 rings if he had a real coach, all disrespect to Kerr. Jordan didn’t hit him hard enough. 😤

  2. rawsharks

Do people think Spo and Ty Lue are just sitting silently on the coaches bench?

  3. TheRealSplinter

Spo (or Lue?) will be taking over for Kerr after this Olympics

  4. Dogdaypm89

I imagine Spo will be considered to lead the team after Kerr steps down.

“Kerr is a NBA season coach” is the kind of thing one would say about a coach with a ton of regular season success and limited postseason success.

Which makes it a weird thing to say about Kerr.

I refuse to believe that Steve Kerr is sitting there treating fucking Erik Spoelstra, Tyronn Lue, and Mark Few as lowly assistants where his word is final and they have no say whatsoever.

This seems like a target trying to single out the blame on Kerr and Kerr alone lol.

I don’t think it really matters who has the title of “head coach”. The coaching staff is probably collaborating and making decisions, adjustments, plays and lineup changes as a unit. When you have a coaching staff of this caliber with like 10 championships worth of experience, who gets the title of “head coach” is really just a formality. I imagine even that decision was made collaboratively between themselves. There is no actual hierarchy or anything. In fact with such a veteran, experienced team, I imagine the players themselves (particularly guys like LeBron, Steph, KD, etc.) have a lot of influence and say in how they play.

This is hilarious. People have been inspired by Biden.

“Steve, for the sake of the USA, you need to step down”

Can we not promote Ashley Nicole Moss

  10. FrankSamples

Shouldn’t team USA be far out talenting their competition regardless?

  11. CookieMonsterNova

    who? what is this tweet?

kerr has said he’s handing it off to spo or lue after the olympics anyway.

and it’s been reported that it’s a collective not just him making all the decisions.

ppl want to make kerr the scapegoat for whatever reason, getting very angry at two exhibition games where guess what…lebron was happy that it was close so they can see what a close game is like beforehand

so ppl forget or too young to remember that the redeem team steam rolled everyone but was in uncharted territory during the gold medal game vs spain?

it took kobe basically going alpha dog to win.

No disrespect to her but she is a terrible sports analyst and CBS should replace her.

  13. Not to be rude, but who is moss? I thought it was Randy Moss which I’m upset that it’s not because I read that in his accent.

Kerr just calls timeouts they’re basically all head coach. USA coaching hasn’t had an ego since Larry Brown.

  15. No-Astronomer139

Also, Kerr is a good coach who had an all-time great. I do not think Kerr could coach Miami. I do think Spo could coach the Warriors.

  16. Technician-Temporary

Y’all let everyone just have hoop opinions because of X/IG following.

  17. HOFredditor

I swear these guys never saw Kerr win championships by adjusting his gameplan time and time again

  18. 20BeersDeep

We can agree that Spo is the better coach but acting like Kerr is the problem is hilarious

  19. captaincumsock69

If argue Kerr is the perfect coach for the Olympics. One of his biggest strengths has always been managing egos and keeping the team focused. This isn’t like coaching a normal team where there’s a clear hierarchy

  20. Does dude not know that Spo is literally on the staff, making said adjustments???

  21. incredibleamadeuscho

Old white man asked to step down for his Asian second in command. Tale as old as time.

  22. Do people really think assistants don’t have any say? This isn’t a fucking d2 or d3 team. Ofc Kerr listens to his assistants 100% of time anyone not thinking that is fucking braindead. If anything he’s just a figurehead while coaches break down off def and they prollly have vid guys somewhere in the arena not allowed to be seated

  23. malloworld

Lol it’s literally disrespect. You’re calling out Kerr for being below in performance to one of his peers/colleagues.
