Sengun has the highest potential. He shows promise as a shooter and can get in better shape. Reed probably isn't going to get any taller or significantly faster, but he can continue to develop his skills. Amen can also continue to develop his skills but I haven't seen any signs of an improved shot. Jalen's problem is consistency. In my opinion consistency and availability are the two most important attributes a player can have. This limits Jalen's absolute value more so than the others. If he can show consistency this coming year his value goes way up. At this point we still don't have a lot of surety on how good these players will be. Sengun has done enough to give us a pretty good idea of his floor and thus he is the best player. Sheppard has enough skills to set a pretty solid floor – we still need to see him in regular NBA games, but he is a potential star. Alperin is a star. Amen has some limitations(shooting) unless he can shoot he will be third in the pecking order. I am not worried about the contract stuff – Rockets are still looking for a established star. I think it will work itself out by the trade deadline.

I watch the Grizzlies vs. Heat. Josh Christopher is better than Jalen as far as getting his own shot. Ware looked really good too. I'm surprised Alpi is calling to get paid. He seems like such a "Go with the flow" kinda guy. Maybe he grew a pair this summer. Reed is playing great for a 20 year old. But when people start raving about him it makes me cringe a bit. Calm down with the Reed Sheppard hype. I'm seeing the Rocket's as a team that will improve their team 3 point percentage but nothing crazy. We still need more shooters.
