The Milwaukee Bucks Just Leveled Up!

The Milwaukee Bucks Just Leveled Up!

After trading for Damian Lillard just a week before training camp, everything that could’ve possibly went wrong for the Milwaukee Bucks did go wrong. Coaching firings, chemistry issues, and a slew of injuries culminated in the Bucks second consecutive first round exit. So, headed into the 2024 offseason, things looked bleak for Milwaukee, especially considering they were in line to cross the NBA’s Second Tax Apron, which puts heavy restrictions on a front office’s ability to build a roster. The best case scenario for Milwaukee seemed to be resigning it’s own free agents and running it back, but Jon Horst and this Bucks front office stunned everyone…as the Bucks acquired the services of Gary Trent Jr, Taurean Prince, and Delon Wright to bolster their championship odds headed into the 2024-25 season! So do the Bucks have what it takes to hang banner number 3 in 2025, or will it be another year of disappointment in Milwaukee?

  1. Pretty good pickups. Gary Trent on a minimum is crazy. Three 40% shooters on a minimum is an awesome acquisition

  2. Milwaukee problem is we didn't address our main issue. Playmaking and a young athletic big to run with Giannis. Jon Horst did nothing but go around Milwaukee main issues. He upgraded pieces that wasn't really the main focus. We struggle badly with playmaking and getting our other scorers involved with Dame. We struggle with Brook being too slow and stiff vs these young teams or small ball lineups
