The Spurs have been reportedly looking for a Keldon Johnson trade, and Lauri Markkanen has been a name link to a potential trade. Spurs could really make a strong move around Victor Wembanyama, but even if they move off of Keldon Johnson, Spurs should look to trade Zach Collins.

I think the contract of Zach Collins is not ideal. I would use him in a big trade to match salaries as the Spurs to upgrade, considering Victor Wembanyama is already a superstar already.

He's a serviceable backup. There's no reason to dump him for someone who may or may not be better. There's no move that will dramatically improve on Collins, so why not give him one more season?
Collins and Johnson should be packaged as part of a trade.
Collins is perfectly fine as a backup center he's only 26 years old and is talented and plays up to his salary.
