Saw The Decemberists last night at Mission Ballroom
Was a much better show than last time I saw them. They were much more engaged with the audience and, idk, present? I think their set list was completely different last night than it was the first time I saw them too, so it was cool to get some variety.

So, I had the front window open last last night, because the cats like to keep an eye on the neighborhood, and all of a sudden there is just a couple cats yowling right in the front yard. My cat’s looking at me like are you going to do something or what, so I go out there to break up the cat fight. I get outside and it’s a little female stray that hangs out on the next block and some big ol tom that I’ve never seen before. Well, I disperse them and they go scampering off into the night. Didn’t seem like much of a fight, really.
I get inside and start thinking about it… wait a minute, those cats were probably fucking out there

An interesting Michael Malone tidbit from listening to Rudy Gay on Melo’s pod:
He says Malone is one of his favorite coaches ever. He told the Kings he’d sign an extension with them as long as Malone would be around (so he signed an extension on November 18, 2014). Then they fired Malone on December 15 that season, and Rudy immediately wanted to leave lol
