The 82 games season and 7 game series take a lot of excitement out of it. It’s so much more entertaining when every game counts. Only if the games are competitive of course, like they almost certainly will be this year. This is going to be a great tournament to watch.

I think the real dark horse for the Olympics is Australia. They seem to be significantly stronger than past WC. Germany vs Canada/USA would’ve been my dream gold medal game
Its as even as it gets. They should have kept prior format with 6 teams and 2 groups. After group phase, they have a draw which leaves some randomness to the situation plus for die hooper fans we get to see two more games and format is clear . My prediction is US 1st, Germany 2nd and Serbia 3rd. I cant put Canada yet in medal contention as their group is too unpredictable. Cant write out Australia,Spain or Greece. This group anyone can beat anyone.
