Clippers did what the Lakers should of done. Had multiple chances of getting a title after 2020 n still stuck wit the same 2 guys while giving aways picks future picks to cycle multiple players to sacrifice their game for said player than get rid of a championship cosch that was defensively a great coach ( anyone that knows kno that some of these players on that Lakers roster dont play defense) than draft a 55th trash can wit a drunk coach wit no experience
Why are my Clippers still being discussed? We’re a joke. Went back to being a joke. Pandemic P can say whatever he wants to say but Clippers fans needs to wake tf up. Wayoff Pee is closer to a championship than we are these next three years. Whether he actually wins a ring is a different matter. He seems more concerned being a podcaster. Clippers will not be contenders for another 10 years. We don’t control our picks until the 2030s.
In the end, would I’ve traded the farm to get Kawhi back in 2019? I think I would not knowing what would happen in the next 5 years. But we saw what happened. Hindsight is 20/20. Clippers went all-in in 2019 and they busted badly. Now it’s a matter of just waiting for Kawhi and Harden to retire as both will rob another $220M from LA’s B team so we can focus building our team more organically like OKC did.
Clearing cap space for 2026 means nothing to me. Most guys in their prime are already locked up with their supermax deals. Clippers fans just needs to move on. Still angry at PG-13% soon to be PG-8%? He’s a born loser. What hurt us was Kawhi’s health. Not PG being a low efficient player who hardly Ds up anymore and looks for people to blame for his own failures. Let Philly deal with that underachieving ringless loser. Mark my words: Paul George will never win a ring.
Lakers have a better shot winning a ring but only because we never have Kawhi healthy when it matters. It’s been four consecutive years with Kawhi never fully healthy for the entire playoff run. I’m just waiting for this guy to retire. Expect the next 10 years to be in purgatory of mediocrity. Nothing good will ever happen to the Clippers. They’re cursed forever. It’s just Steve Ballmer backing up another loser like the Microsoft Zune.
Giannis without question over SGA bc he’s proven more at the highest level and he’s reached levels and heights individually that SGA hasn’t yet reached bc Giannis is MVP, DPOY, FMVP, and champion and has arguably been at one point the best player in the world compared to SGA who we’ve never discussed as being the best player in the world or even top 3 so I’m rolling with Giannis but the Giannis disrespect is crazy man.

Problem is the first unit is old and can’t play at a high pace for 40 minutes over 6 games. Kerr needs to mix up the rotation better. Bron also needs to push the pace when he is on the floor.
