Should’ve clarified, the likely package would include 1 of either Jonathan Kuminga OR Brandin Podziemski, both have been in talks but not in the same deal
warriors has to make a decisions whether they're gon waste curry lasy years with this current line up or start to make a rebuilding team at this point.
in my opinion, if you have to give up Kuminga (21 y/o) or (21 y/o) in any packages…. IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!

Warriors fans are choosing Kuminga and Podz over Steph. That’s crazy, Steph has made it clear that he wants to win, so leaving is a possibility if the right pieces are not added.
Markkanen is not going anywhere before next season's trade deadline. Utah can offering him a bigger extension than any other team, and once that is signed, he won't be eligible to be traded for 6 months. I fully expect him to sign an extension with Utah on August 6th and then be traded for cheap young talent and draft picks at the deadline.
I love Kuminga but I'd rather trade him than Podz because of the financial aspect. Unfortunately no one wants Wiggins so we're basically stuck with him. I'd like to see us send out GP2 Looney and Moody in the trade and possibly not give up so much picks. It's not fair that Steph doesn't have any help. I like the guys we signed now we just need to get Steph his Robin the pieces around him are solid enough to do something. Lauri is already at a level we're hoping Kuminga gets to and it's just cheaper to keep Podz instead.
Its not JUST Moody and Picks. They have to put in GP2 and Looney for salary matching. People just keep parroting crap. GP2 and Looney are expiring contracts that help big time with salary shedding.
Laurie is sooo sought after we don't have a single substantial reported offer from another team. LOL. One of the best drafts in years and most competing teams have less to offer than the Warriors.
Most of the comments I read here are SIMPLY STUPID. Who gives a shit about GSW future right now when you have friggin STEPH! Just take Lauri and let Kuminga or Podz go and be a contender again NOW ! Not 10 years later

Im a fan of curry more than a warriors fan so id go all in for lauri, anyway, warriors would suck after curry retires keep few young core and trade future assets for lauri. Warriors also can capitalize revenue with curry and lauri on all start since SF will be hosting it.

I kinna want curry gone soon. He’s gonna be 37 making close to 60 mill and that has never won you a thing in the nba . And if he wants a 70 mill a year contract, you’ll be closer to a lottery team. He needs to pull a lebron and go to a different team with a boatload of cap space every other year and form super teams if he needs to be carried . Take a major discount if you really want to keep winning in the bay

I don’t the comparison defensively to andrew wiggins at all coming here. Lauri is slow laterally, can’t guard out on the perimeter, is 7 foot but can’t guard bigs, and doesn’t protect the rim. Your 2 best players in steph/lauri is a recipe for getting deep fried when it matters most. Andrew wiggins is strong, has elite athleticism, and has a longer wingspan than lauri and he’s much shorter
