NBA Locks Up Media Partners for 2025 Season

TLDR: Starting fall 2025 season:
NBA on Sunday afternoon on ABC, Sunday nights following the NFL season on NBC, Mondays on Peacock, Tuesday nights on NBC. Wednesday nights on ESPN, Thursday nights on Amazon Prime after the NFL season, Friday nights on ESPN and Amazon Prime, and Saturday afternoons on Amazon and evenings on ABC.

Good chance Knicks get a bunch of broadcast and national games if we keep this trajectory. I wonder what this expansion of broadcast and streaming will mean to RSNs like MSG.

Yeah more national games means we don’t get to hear Mike and Clyde as much 🙁

So I’m guessing this means fewer games of Breen and Clyde or pretty much any of the MSG crew smh. Ti’s a curse of finally being a good watchable team.

Stupid. We gotta have all the streaming networks ? This will increase flight to piracy

Fuck if I’m signing up for Peacock. Was hoping Max kept the rights because I get that for free with ATT.

But I guess it’s back to buying league pass in India so I can watch the Knicks if you catch my drift.

worst thing about amazon is that the announcers are the worst. they basically suck at every sport. will probably be true for peacock too. will have to see where the TNT staff go but without a solid load of games i don’t see them making a serious investment.

  8. Does this mean less games on MSG? I am not going to be good with this decision. Clyde or no Clyde I still want to be with the MSG Fam for nearly every game.

Eh, I got NBA TV for free next year, so I just need to use a VPN so I don’t get Knicks blacked out

My friend texted me during the All Star week and let me know about some Tatum promo the NBA was doing, giving out like 1.5 years of free NBA TV, and it blew up way more than they thought, so many people now have it, LMAO
