Let's get right to it.
Without Lebron 6-5 (but with AD playing):

Rui in 11 games: 17.7 points 5.5 rebounds 53% from the field 45.5% from 3
Dlo in 11 games: 21.7 points 5.6 rebounds 10.8 assists 42.6% from the field 41% from 3
Reaves in 11 games: 19.5 points 4.7 rebounds 5.2 assists 53% from 42.6% from 3
Without AD 2-4 (but with Lebron):
https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/lakers-players-stats-without-anthony-davis-this-regular-season
Rui in 6 games: 21.2 points 7.7 rebounds 53.3% from the field 48.5% from 3
Dlo in 5 games: 16.8 points 3.0 rebounds 6.8 assists 35.5% from the field 44.4% from 3
Reaves in 6 games: 20.7 points 3.2 rebounds 5.7 assists 46.2% from 41.9% from 3
This small sample size proves to me that those 3 players are elite offensively and can carry the load when one of the stars misses a game. It also proves that fans calling for trades for players like Zach Lavine, Jeremy Grant, and Cam Johnson are misguided. The team needs a backup center that can give post defense when AD misses time that's why they sucked so bad when he was hurt.

I’m usually in the trade for Lavine camp (with another move for a pg) but these statistics really do tell a story. I’ve always been happy with running it back because this team, when on, is fun to watch. Hopefully they make a trade for a quality backup big because Hayes ain’t it.
Yo, I mean this completely unironically- lookit you say something nice about AR lol that’s really cool. I support this movement.
But yeah, the team needs a backup C right now. There’s a few that should possibly be available, but the question is how much do you give up for a backup C? Ideally a handful of 2nds and some salary matching, but is anyone biting on that right now? Apparently not lol
If they are “elite” offensively then what is LeBron?
Y’all throw that word around way too loosely.
To your point, a backup 5 and some stability off the bench in creating offense. Likely in the form of a backup pg or better staggering lebron with that lineup as dlo/reaves feed and play off of AD really well.
Won’t say that’s all this team needs to win, but those are realistic holes to fill to give us a shot.
Dlo has a low floor, especially in the playoffs he costs us so many possessions when his shots aren’t falling. Which is often. He also checks out mentally. That 1-2-3 cancun bullshit he pulled on the bench last postseason is unacceptable.
Ooh the low sample size game, let’s play
Rui in 5 games: 7.8 pts, 3.8 rebounds, 39.5% FG, 35.7% 3p
Dlo in 5 games: 14.2 pts, 4.2 ast, 38.4% FG, 31.8% 3p
You realize there’s much greater variance in scoring with role players. When these guys are missing most of their shots (which they 100% will), they contribute pretty much nothing.
OG, Mikal, Smart, Jrue, White, McDaniels- these guys are elite role players. Why? Because offensively they’re just as efficient in what they need to contribute and they’re also elite defensively. This important for you to recognize because when they’re missing shots, they will always be contributing on defense (in addition to other ways like playmaking, rebounding depending on the player). Really, if you’re building around Lebron/AD, this makes them better than some “stars”
Yeah, yeah. We need to stay put. This year we can be 7th seed 💪💪💪
