  1. We got so many good players over the last two seasons getting kyrie gafford pj naji grimes klay while technically only losing Josh green doe doe Seth grant Williams and Tim hardaway jr

  2. I think the biggest challenges for the coaching staff is moderating the minutes of Kai and Klay and giving them some nights off against the bacdrop of trying to win every game we can. Therein lies the value of a deep team. And for sakes hopefully Kleber can even avoid long stint on the trainer's table.

  3. I think the player the Mavs really need to chase aggressively is Precious Achiuwa. He'd fit way better than Jerami Grant.

  4. I'm willing to bet on Klay. Of course, there would be people who say 'they're washed, too old, injuries…' yada yada. But they say the same thing when Kyrie came here.

  5. I thought he was a decent pickup if we didn't have to give up anything for him, but 2 first round picks? For a $40 million per year contract? HELL NO!

Also, Josh was used to get Thompson and I'd MUCH rather have a scoring SF/SG than a PF who is slightly better than PJ. Let's let these players develop and trust Luka to run the best team he's ever had in a way that gets them to the top of the West and into the Finals again. I loved the playoffs and how the team performed throughout, but still felt cheated because Luka being injured meant he couldn't be the incredible spectacle he is to watch. I want to see a full playoffs with PRIME Luka giving us a 35pt triple double, with games in the 40s or maybe even a 50 piece. I want to see him dominate the way Jokic did in their championship, not a wounded Luka limping around and trying to find ways to score just enough to carry an underperforming team. It was exciting, but win or lose, it wasn't the Mavs team we all watched last year.

  6. @MavericksDigest Man, his contract is def not 5/190 mil, he's more like 5 /160 mil… may be not a huge difference, but it is
