Melo didn’t play defense and Rasheed was absolutely needed, so maybe that trade doesn’t get made.
Could Melo have been a better defender with the right system and emphasis on it early? Maybe, but we have no way of knowing that for certain. The Pistons were a dominant defensive team. Every guy played defense.

I don't know about 3 chips. Rasheed Wallace was a better fit at the time than Melo was.
Probably wouldn't have got Sheed. They would have been seen as the "same" type of player

Probably would’ve been better to take Dwade since he was the second best player out of that draft. Him playing w those boys would have been crazy
They should've won two as it was. More if Larry Brown knew how to develop Darko Milicic.
I hate pistons abd i thought they were getting him and that team was already stacked
If they had Rasheed and melo came off the bench the first few years then yes they would have won 2b2 but as a starter he was a ball stopper
