Monty is a just a hater. Why should the Jazz spend huge amounts of money when the team has no chance to win a championship. OKC ditched every large contract, and will be competing for a championship for the next several years. The Jazz best chance to success is two picks in the top 10 picks for both 2025 and 2026 and then just hope for luck. The Jazz are not simply cheap, they are smart. Teams desperate for a championship will over pay for Lauri, it may take the trade deadline, you fellows have never been in a situation to make these decisions. Remember Ainge, he has been on 3 championship teams, he was on several other knocking on the door and part of management, had 1 in Boston and made the selections that brought Boston the title this year. No one in the NBA has a better pedigree than Ainge, but in three years we will be competing for a championship. These players he hopes to get, Ainge is looking for a tradeable asset. You guys comments on the Jazz not being able to develope players is ridiculious.
