We tried to build the PERFECT ROSTER around Donovan Mitchell & Evan Mobley | Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers locked up both Donovan Mitchell & Evan Mobley to max contracts this summer, solidifying those two as part of the team’s long-term future.

Darius Garland & Jarrett Allen are certainly part of that too.

But for the sake of this exercise, Justin Rowan of The Chase Down Podcast & McNuggets try and create the perfect roster around Mitchell & Mobley.

Here are the rules: 10 players (8+ Mitchell & Mobley), NO players on max-deals, NO players on rookie deals, and the team’s salary CANNOT exceed $185 million. $195 million is the projected 1st Apron number in 2025/2026 so we took $10 million off that number to account for the final few minimum contracts on the bench.

So once again — 8 players + Mitchell & Mobley that can’t exceed $185M. Go…
