So many in Serbia trying to be "optimistic" but I am devastated. This sucks. We were dominated in every aspect of the game. Difficult to watch how powerless we were. 🙁
Team USA might lose one, onto the next fellas!
Two very concerning things for Serbia, that might suggest they have 1% chance to win, rather than healthy 10%. 1) they could no create good looks in the second half, first half one could say they are just missing shots, second half they weren't getting any good shots, 2) they look weak mentally as a team. Mistakes always followed by series of mistakes, when the shots stop falling for a bit, they stop shooting with confidence. (USA can miss 10 shots in a row, whoever takes shot no11 think he's splashing it 100%)
I wonder how team USA would do against a team Europe team instead of playing against separate countries

Pesic is old-timer coach, he is not know what is spacing and favorite match ups. For Serbia will be extremely hard to win medal, because we play basketball with 2 centers, and everybody knows that is better to play with bad PF, than with 2 good centers.
Pesic is old timer coach, he plays basketball with 2 C, and it is much better to play with not so great PF than with good center. I am not an optimist, because this roster they did not make around Jokic, and he likes 3 and D players around him, not some slow and immobile players.
Serbia should play Jokic as center, and his back up Petrusev or Milutinov. Micic needs to play much faster, he will be very bad fit in Denver (if he comes), Jovic should be starting PF, and Serbia do not have good faciliatory PG in team, all PG liked to score more than assisted.
Really wanted to see Serbia beat us here with a strong Jokic performance and then have us win the Gold after pool play, but…. I’ll be damned if Serbia didn’t turn into the Denver Nuggets and play like ass with Jokic off the court—for some stretches while he was on court, too. That poor man has witnessed more bricked open shots and pan hands from teammates than anyone in history…
USA looked good! Never want to see Joel again in my life, but half the country is right there with me.
