We waited 16 years to see our national team in the Olympics again, and it has most likely ended today. Although I thought Spanoulis had done well in the qualifiers he was dreadful today. Subbing in Charalampopoulos at crucial points in the game, designing stupid plays out of timeouts (a fucking shot for Calathes are you serious). Our first great generation won one Eurobasket (1987), our second great generation won one Eurobasket (2005), finished second in a world cup and played well in two Olympics. This generation has been wasted through incompetence and stupidity.
Fuck this country, fuck the national basketball federation, and fuck the Greek media for making us believe that the last 15 years of dog shit for our national team would end in this tournament
