  1. Can we please stop with all of these potential trades. The Lakers would be an NFL team if they had every player y’all mention

  2. Honesty, I think GS, Dallas, LAC, and Denver got worse! I know it seems crazy, but they have, & and we have done nothing; I think we could surprise ourselves this year bringing this core back; at least we're deep.

  3. JGrant is a good(not very good) player on a bad team, put him in the Lakers, he will play worse than Rui. And Rui will be by player in blazers

  4. We have enough ,Lebron , AD , Rui , Vando , CWood , guys with length and scoring , we need a center and hopefully Christie come thru this year off the bench ,Lonnie Walker is out there to , keep D Lo n Reaves let them grow and allow our revamped coaching staff bring this team together

  5. NO to Jerami Grant's contract. NO to 2 firsts. He is supposed to be an upgrade over Rui due to being a 2way player… BUT HE ISNT. He is NOT a good rebounder and for the last two years DLo has a better Drating than Grant who has a Drating of 120 in 2022/23 and 119 23/24

  6. Portland Trail Blazers rejected the DLO trade for Jeremy Grant, Rob Pelinka blew it again what an idiot.

  7. basing on how good a wing is at rebounding by looking only at stats is kinda dumb and dosent reveal anything, i can tell you grant is a better rebounder than rui

  8. why do we need a trade?
    What about developing the team?
We hopefully improved a lot on the coaching and I still put hope in Gabe and Jarred Vanderbilt, if they keep healthy we'd gain a lot.

  9. Lakers lose another FA. Time for trades. Ant Edwards 4 a protected first and DLO. Are we giving up too much my dear Laker fans?

  10. You got to be stupid to get rid of dlow He's been with coaches that have no offensive system that running five wide out and makes him shoot three-pointers all day when he's skilled at shooting. Two pointers if he has an offensive system or if you can put him in an offensive system. He's going to be a killer threat that is wrong with today's NBA. It's weak and lazy and in order for you to win a championship, you need an office assist to me. I need defensive players to f**** play defense

  11. Murray had a great contract and filled a need. Not sure why Rob would even consider Grant with that awful contract.

  12. I don't wanna sound dumb but aren't one of the picks a top 5 protected first round pick if that is the case I don't understand why u would trade that 4 whoever after we don't have LeBron anyy sounds stupid

  13. This trade solves nothing, bigman issue not resolved. Does not help improve defense for the backcourt. Rumour makes no sense.

  14. I have Reddish penciled in as my one-for-one backup point guard behind LeBron James. That means James plays point guard and whenever he comes out, Reddish comes in. Why? Because with James playing point guard on offense and power forward on defense, for continuity sake, you need his backup at point guard to be able to do the same, a player who can facilitate on offense yet guard modern NBA power forwards as well. Cam Reddish can do that. Schifino can too, but as of right now, to me, Reddish is better with more to prove. The sad reality is that Reddish will more than likely get hurt and miss 25 games, so Schifino will get a legitimate chance to take Reddish's role.

How would Reddish perform as the primary ball-handler on the floor surrounded by supplementary facilitators? I believe he'd have the best year of his career. Do his handles need to be tightened? Yes. Is he a natural table-setter? Absolutely not. I can concede these points while also acknowledging that fine-tuning his handle will not be a chore because he is an above-average ball-handler. Has he shown that he's an above-average ball-handler the past few years? Absolutely not, but I'd argue that he's been insecure about dribbling because he hasn't had the opportunity to play loose with a modicum of freedom. In high school as a point guard, at Duke, and in Atlanta he's played his best on-ball in the pick and roll. Historically, he's shown he can be dynamic in this role, and with Reddish acting as a literal understudy to James, he'd be able to be mentored by one of the best oversized wing point guards of all-time.

In this role, if he xan stay healthy and beat-out Schifino who won't lay-down without a fight, Reddish has a chance to find himself again.

  15. Thank you! There are so many commentators saying that they should do this it’s insane. Also – DLo is the best option we have at PG. doesn’t need the ball and best distributor on the team. Lakers have wings. I’d actually look at Rui for Clint capela and a first

  16. I believe it's crucial to maintain continuity as we head into the season rather than making a trade for Jerami Grant. Our fanbase often craves something new and shiny to spark excitement, but this move feels like a mediocre fix. We still haven’t tackled our biggest issue from last season: backcourt defense. We consistently get torched on that end, allowing opponents to find their rhythm early in games.

While many fans are concerned about the center position, I see it differently. The only center that has truly posed a challenge for the Lakers is Jokic. If Christian and Jaxson have dedicated themselves this summer and can stay healthy, I think they have the potential for bounce-back seasons. If they look at how Bam utilizes his skills alongside AD, they should aim to replicate that synergy. Keeping the core intact and investing in our current players could yield greater long-term benefits than chasing mediocrity.

  17. I prefer going into the season as is with continuity than to make a trade for Jerami Grant…Our Fanbase always wants something NEW & SHINY to get excited about…this move is mediocre to me….we still haven't addressed our biggest issues last season, which is backcourt defense, we get torched on that end on a nightly basis and player are getting in there rhythm in the first quarter. I'm not as worried about the Center position as most of our fans as the only real C that has posed a problem for the Lakers is Joker…I think if Christian and Jaxson have worked this summer and have healthy seasons they could have bounce back seasons…If they're watching how Bam is playing with AD they should be trying to replicate some of that defensive comradery….Doobie Hayes

  18. Don't need to trade Rui And Vando . Keep this player's with reaves , Max christie add knetch . This are the future for the team . The problem with lakers they don't have patients and they need to draft a big man a center . They have already a PG in the team .
