the first half was a little concerning. Giddy was carrying the team and doing his usual non-athletic heroics. I still see a problem with the lack of a polished center. We were severely outscored in the paint in the first half. Still not sure what's happening with Jamal. Playing like he is injured or depressed. What gives ?

RJ is quietly putting up points and hitting the shot when we need it. I am so used to seeing the Raptors shoot 20% on the threes and now we have Canadian players hitting in the 40 percentile. I know you support the players who show up but i am still pissed that Wiggins and Edey are not there.

I feel like if we had zach edey we would be actual contenders for gold but with Powell I'm not sure. Hoping for a medal this year
Canada was expected to go 3-0 in group play. The issue will be playing teams with better C's like Serbia, Germany, France and the US. Canada has better overall talent than all but the US, but Euroball is goofy. Canada may play for gold or may get bounced in the quarters like they did in 2000. You never know. But make no mistake, nobody is horrified.
