  1. Who started for Mitch when he got injured in 22-23 season ?? not Simms did he not play well ??? Did we not finish 4th seed ?? 😂😂😂😅😂😅😂 yall be tripping how’s Precious will get murdered at center y’all slow . I’m disgusted

  2. Let's be consistent in your reporting- are the Knicks making a trade with these assets or are they adding depth..I think the Knicks are done this season..no need for any more center

  3. I domt believe u on achuiwa is getting more minutes at the center than sims,i have to see to believe it

  4. You may have an issue with Jericho as a backup 5, but it's clear Thibs and Leon believe in him (like they did in Deuce) and have kept him (even after trading Obi, IQ, RJ, QG, Fournier); spreading out his stats per 100 possessions, he'd average 8 points, 13 rebs and 1.5 blocks a game, so hardly radically different from what can be expected from a competent backup 5 (indeed, rather close to ihart and Mitch- or for that matter, Walter Kessler's numbers playing a lot less regularly!) and certainly a lot more than from a 3rd string 5 (perhaps best in that role in the whole league).

Contrary to what you say that Sims has no "awareness on the court", he not only rarely ever commits a turnover when passing out after a rebound but in fact, I have never seen a big have such court awareness when he pinpoint-precisely directs tapouts right on the mark exactly to teammates when outleaping bigger 5's for rebs (these should be considered OR bc they maintain team possession but they are not). What he should be encouraged to do, actually, is go right back up hard to the hoop when getting a rebound (you are right here, tho', that he needs to improve positioning) rather than passing it out bc he's shown he's got the footwork for some nifty moves down low in the post. He's improved his FT's and hovered around 75% most of the season so he should look for the foul.

Similarly on defense, where some only see "lost" or "out of position", others see a 5 covering much more ground from rim to the arc than ihart or Mitch ever could while guarding anyone from 1 to 5 in a way very few 5's in the NBA can.

Be fair. He was enticing as Mitch's backup in his rookie and second season, regressed a bit last year (though he largely stopped making unnecessary fouls or going for head pumps as much) with the dramatic improvement in ihart and Precious' game/s (especially after JR got hurt and IQ, RJ and QG left) and the loss of consistent mins (and maybe a bit of confidence), but he's still young, still an extraordinary athlete, still hasn't gotten that 20-25 mins a game opportunity, still has not been used to his strengths (fastest and most agile 5 in the league even if a bit undersized) or played to his skills (especially iso-posting at the P4 or even the 5 if Thibs ever decided to include centers in his O as more than decoy-screeners) and has yet to play with a true "pass first, shoot second" point guard like Kolek who can "find him" (and Mitch) in ways JB apparently can't.

Let's stay positive where there's reason to be so without denying our critical objectivity (pointing out the flaws that are there or the areas for improvement he still needs) bc distortion creates pressure often ending in irrationality, unnecessary (even cruel) negativity and bad "bumrushed" panicky decisions: There's plenty of time to see what will develop before February, especially now that we have Precious AND a healthy Mitch back and a new "Bigs Coach" considered the best in the business.

And don't doubt that he was brought in specifically for Sims in particular (probably Precious, too, and maybe even Ariel and Dmytro), another sign of faith (or hope) there again by Thibs and Leon in Jericho.

We may very well end up needing him more than we ever expected and should prepare for that but assuming anyone or even everyone out there is always (questionably) better (and probably too expensive anyway) is not that.

  5. Stop blaming randle for you not having a bench or reserve that you can rely on. And your center position is the same taking all the pressure in the paint OKC got bench and reserve. I feel sorry for Mikel B if og gets hurt. The Orlando signing might save him. Dmytro and kolek have something chemistry-wise. Randle needs to stay a power forward 💪 that's his game

  6. What do you think about Jamarion Sharp? 7’5 (!!) w/ a 7’9” wingspan and 9’10” standing reach, Sharp is among the most prolific shot-blockers in recent NCAA history (career 17.3 BLK%).

ALSO, much cheaper contract than Jericho Sims is on, so I think the numbers work out.

  7. Wow Chuma looks great on some highlight reels. He sees the floor well, defends in a high class, and can create his shot when need be. Those are all good qualities to put on your resume. The Knicks obviously have done their homework. His assist to turnovers are good (throwing last season out, as he played too few minutes) He looks quite underrated and hopefully can create more depth as you mentioned Troy. He may not shoot 3's with the elite, but he does the little things and that's what the Knicks are building their team around.

  8. I see u and that knicknator dude went all out yesterday dissing mitch.. that's mad weak..yall dudes is mad haters.. and u still dissin mitch on this video.. I don't know what foolish mortal gets their sports knowledge from u. Talking about we don't have a center. Mitch is better than IHart.. then u still talking about trading #30 . Same goofy nonsense every video!!

  9. I feel it is repetitive since we have Bates-Diop who is also a big wing known for defense. However, Chuma has more upside than him. Let us see training camp and the 9 man rotation.

  10. This kid hasn't really had a chance ..great pick up tibs kinda guy..young big and can put the ball in the hoop..GO KNICKS
