[Marks] Julius Randle becomes eligible for an extension with the New York Knicks beginning tomorrow, per @BobbyMarks42. A Western Conference executive commented about Randle’s extension and sacrificing for the betterment of the team: “Is he Jalen Brunson or Paul George?”

Julius already did his Jalen Brunson move in 2021. This is most likely his last big contract so I don’t expect him to do this a second time.
I don’t think they come to an agreement yet. I think he wants 50M a year and the Knicks will give him $40M.
Coming off a season-ending injury, it probably makes the most sense for him to sign the extension. Plus, it’s not really sacrificing to sign for the maximum amount you can now, when anything can happen in the future. Even Donovan Mitchell signed his extension earlier this summer.
