Knicks Planning To Make MASSIVE Trade Deadline Move For Starting Caliber Center (LIVE) | Knicks News
An NBA Executive recently spoke with the Heavy.com about the Knicks and potential trades they could use Precious Achuiwa for when the trade deadline comes around in February. During the interview, Insider Sean Deveney mentioned that before NY re-signed Achiuwa, they were interested in adding another Big Man via trade, Jonas Valanciunas. Valanciunas is currently on the Washington Wizards, but the NBA exec believes that he will be available at the deadline. This offers NY the perfect opportunity to get a starting caliber center at a potential bargain price. We’ll discuss the Knicks interest in adding Jonas at the deadline and we’ll also take a look at what Precious Achiuwa’s role will be next season for the Knicks. NY has access to their 5.2 Million tax payer mid level exception, we’ll take a look at some players they can sign with it and who makes the most sense… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

I have to say. And it's not you. But anybody including Dante or heart in any kind of deal. Especially with the roommate show. Jalen Brunson taking a discount.. and they bring different things to the table one was the best 3-point shooter in the League last year basically. The other one rebounds and plays like he's 7 ft tall. So for any moment if you think this organization would trade either one of those guys without running it by Brunson I mean I want what you're smoking. And again not you.. I've heard mock trades that include these guys😂 they just got back Ryan Arcidiacono. When every other team was like no we're who do you think made that happen?? A dude taken care of his boys. So if you think they are trading ❤ or Dante in any deal at any point I want with your smoking

I am so tired of all these mock trades being discussed. The Knicks will probably not make any trades until the trade deadline during the season. They are not going to give up any more assets right now for anyone. Jonas is too old & slow to help us. Let's wait & see what happens once the season starts. I hope to see them develop Jericho Sims & maybe Hukporti or Skapintsev
