Fair point about playing time and what role he would have if he spends time in G-League. I can see his minutes as a backup 3 on Piston roster not the 4. Ausar seems to have the build & physicality to go against physical wings like Zion, OG Anunoby or Paolo. Minutes will be @ a premium with competition at the 3/4 spots
It would be nice to see this hopelessly stupid team actual USE their G-League squad for once!
35 minutes per game on a g league team built around him would be better for his development than 8 minutes a game in the nba. They could build a g league team with Jenkins at the 1, Sasser at the 2, Holland at the 3, Klintman at the 4, and a random center at the 5. This would be a much better situation than he had at the g league ignite This would probably only be the case until the trade deadline, where they trade some players away and make more room for Holland to get more minutes
i see Holland taking a Jokic/Kawhi/McCollum type of development. comes off the bench but year by year becomes better and better.
