I think a big factor into the suns success will be how good their defense can be with tyus jones, bradley beal, and nurkic in the starting 5
The issue IMO, coming from a life-long Suns fan, is that the Suns have so few tall wings. We need Ryan Dunn to pop off or we need to get some size on the wing.
As a diehard Suns fan I think Nurkic is our biggest problem too, have seen clips of him in much better shape this offseason though so maybe he’ll be better this year.. I can only hope

Suns still have no dawgs. They still play 0 defense. Not impressed. Their starting lineup will be smaller now. Still expecting KD to be healthy. I can go on. Their ceiling is 2nd round to me. Even that's a stretch.
Shouldnt have ever traded ayton for nurkic. Ayton for myles turner would have been great. Pacers obviously value ayton extremely high to offerr him max contract in restricted free agency the year before.

Vogel didn’t do his job last season, Brad being injured for the first half of the season really killed the mojo, center rotation was off.
The NBA community in my opinion has been pretty annoying when it comes to talking about the suns because they tend to leave out a lot of context. I get that people don’t trust them but you should have the same feeling about the lakers, the bucks, Philly, etc.)

You are only saying that you picked 4-5 teams that are better because the Suns lost in the 1st round. When Minnesota got Gobert, they were trash too. Continuity matters. Suns will play better next season and everyone will switch up

if the suns could all learn to feed off tyus and let him run the show at times while the big 3 is off the ball it could be dangerous if they figure it out.
