GQ journalist Joseph Bien-Kahn went behind the scenes of Steph’s new show Mr. Throwback to sus out if Steph could really make the jump to acting. He concludes that yes, Steph is exceptional at everything, comedic acting included, & yes, he is as impossibly down to earth and approachable as he seems.

  1. I’m sure there is some PR here, but I’m also not surprised.

    Steph is one of, if not the, hardest working players in the league. 36 years old and undersized with less than ideal athleticism, and he’s still among the 5-10 best players in the world.

    During the 2022 championship season (I believe it was that year) he finished his college degree, as well as his other charity work and family obligations. Dude is a machine, and I believe he can accomplish pretty much any goal he sets for himself off that level of dedication.

    Half his swag is comedic. He’s a cornball but he’s great at interacting with people and playing the straight man. He could handle a combo of Seinfeld and Martin. He’s likable.

    Ayesha would not be loving it but oh well.
