Well, they already proved they can weather injuries and they’re not top heavy like many teams would suffer from in this scenario. They also already have multiple guys playing for/have played/could play for the US and other countries anyway

I’d probably bet on them to win it if they were in it

  2. They’d blow every team the fuck out lmao. Team USA’s #1 weakness is that they have absolutely no chemistry together, yet they’re still winning comfortably.

Every finals team would win in the Olympics I’d imagine

Do we keep the coaching staff? If not Kerr would give JT DNP for the fun of it

without Hordford / Prozingis ? since they are not american

  6. Every nba team could win gold. Thats why the olmpics are fun. Cuz you cant choose what team you play for, unless your embiid

Duh. And that would actually make them world champions.

  8. The only team they would have any trouble with is the U.S, and frankly I think the team chemistry on the Celtics would overcome it even though the U.S. team obviously has better players

  9. Team USA has far more talent, especially on the bench, which could be a problem. The Celtics could beat them but it would take a lights out shooting performance.

Also, the only problem with this is the Celtics strength would absolutely not be a single elimination tournament- we have seen them go cold for a game, and they are still capable of beating the brakes off that team in the series, but it wouldn’t be a sure thing to win the Olympics because of the nature of the tournament

That’s not a big deal at all. It’s a team sport. Any team that plays well together in the NBA would have shot. The hard part is playing together, not basketball. And ultimately we would be without Kristaps and Horford.
