“One source told ESPN the Warriors have been, ‘very protective,’ of second-year guard Brandin Podziemski, the player on Golden State’s roster who most intrigues the Jazz. Golden State has also not indicated an inclination to meet the Jazz’s high threshold for draft compensation in return.”

How many times are we gonna post the same story over and over? This and the Aiyuk stuff is getting so annoying lol.

    mjd is doing this right.

we have interest but we won’t get fleeced

either you take the draft picks, the ones post curry or you don’t get the picks and you get pod

    not both.

  4. [As I predicted](https://www.reddit.com/r/warriors/s/An6xxfTX5P) three weeks ago lol. I don’t know how many times they have to be Lucy and the football with these ‘we promise we’re *REALLY* trying to go for a big swing trade’ *wink wink* to prolong our window for contention with Steph charades before people stop being fooled by it every time. It’s been the same song and dance since at least 2022.

The rollercoaster drops that come with these failed fake trade pursuits become a lot less severe once you accept that they’ve slowly, but surely, been soft launching a rebuild for two seasons now, with the near complete buy-in to it coming in the middle of this past season. And that means they’re not actually going to change course back to seriously trying to contend (no matter how much they say they’ve never stopped) in the window Steph has left, no matter how much of a disservice and outright slap in the face to Steph it is.

Can’t wait for Lauri to sign in the next 48hrs, so we can finally move on from this nothing burger

Idk what the FO or some of the fans on here envision a Stephless future to look like. We just missed the post season completely with him. This next season is probably the last year where a ring is a remote possibility. We’ll be in the stoneages in like 2-3 years anyways. Might as well go there with 5 rings instead of 4.

sorry but does Lacob seem like someone who would allow himself to get fleeced by Dannie Ainge? Dude has a massive ego.. these two must be insufferable negotiators.

I’m down voting this every time I see it now. I don’t even want lauri anymore Brandon and kuminga are too good

Lauri plays 50 games a season coming off a rookie contract. Gonna be a short career for him

  9. TheBubbaDave

Lauri won’t be signing his extension until after the August 6th deadline. He won’t be available until after the 2024-25 season.

Ugh. As if the 500 other posts weren’t enough. We needed 501.
