Good try, amazing match
Can we please have some better announcers. The announcers should enhance the game, not detract from it. So many things I can point to including the call at the end that clinched the game. This is the Olympic games CBC…the best of the best. Let's get some better announcers to capture the moments
The girls should have watched above the rim before they played
CBC commentators including the instudio talking heads are not the greatest, it's true. A far cry from decades ago.

Great effort from Canada. Seemed like Germany got Greinacher the ball down low when she was being guarded by a Canadian small. Canada ought to have done the same with either Plouffe sister. It was just better recognition. Attack the weakness of Germany which was definitely their smalls. Nevertheless, one point game in end …
Canada rarely looked like they had 3 of thr top 5 ranked players in this tournament, as the announcers frequently reminded us. Having said that, some of those fouls looked pretty suspect.

At least half there first 7 fouls were bogus this ref must be German cause they got away with a lot of slaps

Canada could have had this game won in record pace, if they clearly hadn't allowed the switch with Germany's grienacher giving them the mismatch all the time. Cause clearly she was the only one scoring on germany
So those penalties that Germany drew by faking contact sent them to the final. Refs

Great effort. Seemed to lose concentration for a few possessions after the tough reffing to start the game. Very close game despite the seemingly bias reffing.
