Toliopoulos is great at the 3 but should play off the ball not playmake. He is a short player that is not used to any kind of competition like this. All he plays with this is Greek league teams. The toughest tallest players he ever plays against are Olympiacos and Panathinaikos squad. What would be a fine pass in the Greek league and no way is gonna go through with world class athleyes.
The only way Greece wins this game is to get hot from the 3. There’s no paint action with Giannis on the bench. And even when Giannis is in the game, they pack the paint

missing 2 maybe 3 starters to be real contenders…at least a whole new backcourt. At least Giannis was able to lead them back there, gotta commend the effort
There’s a clear difference in talent. Germany played better and I can see how they are the favorites behind USA. Good game, wasn’t as painful as I thought it was going to be. Papanikolaou and Calathes underperformed and Greece had the worst quarter this year. Let the boys enjoy the remaining of the summer.

Giannis got one quarter of decent support from his teammates. So many missed wide open 3s and bad defensive rotations.
What does Calathes even do? He cant shoot, cant make a freethrow and cant even make proper plays
welp at least everyone who was pissed that Giannis wanted to play was wrong
qualified, made the QFs, will 99% end up leading the tournament in scoring, and didn’t get injured
Giannis cannot do anything more. Get some rest and at least your NBA team is way more competent. Gg!
