I said yesterday how teams were probably waiting to see what would happen with the Lauri situation. With it being resolved now, the only potential domino left is BI’s contract, but that is not as important.
Basically the trade market should be more active now so unless we want to run it back, there’s no excuses to not make a trade now.
Nothing has changed. I don’t think there were ever really any options for Lauri. Nobody budged the entire time. Some guys might move now, but nobody was all in on Lauri, lost out, now they’re like “alright let’s go get Jerami Grant” lol
None of those guys move the needle. We need a PG to replace DLo who can actually play defense (I like section) and a backup big (Kessler?)
If Lakers make any one of these Wing trades but also let go of DLO without bringing back a PG of starting caliber (either from the trade or free agency) then it is not worth it.
