Knew they'd lose. They aren't medal quality yet. Replace some of these bums with Sharpe, Mathurin, Wiggins, Edey and maybe we are bronze. Still have alot of talent who aren't playing
Theres not any ball rotation from canada its always iso ball. Bad coaching, bad gameplan. They count too much on Shai to carry them. Fire the coach and all the coachung staff. Add Wiggins for defense and post play inside and start playing team basketball like USA

Once again proven NBA is overrated! A team full of NBA superstars and u need all kinds of excuses when u lose. France also has NBA players blah blah blah. I didn't know players like Batum, Fournier, patty mills, ingles, etc get the slightest attention in the NBA. Many foreign players are treated like scrubs and nobody's at best in NBA, And ALL of them suddenly get tagged as NBA superstars while matching against full on NBA all Star lineups like USA and Canada. Hell No, USA can't even get Bronze with NBA All Star roster that they need to bring out NBA historical All-time Greats like Lebron KD Curry to have a chance.

Our 1st quarter was awful, if Canada play well in 1st quarter. Then, it would not be happen like that.
The officiating this game was so terrible. So many calls against Canada, and France went to the line so many times.

Colossal choke. There is no other way to describe it. This team was pumped up so much by the media they started to believe their own hype. Utter garbage.
So France got 17 more FT, made 15 more in a 9 point win…😂. No home court issues there. Im sure they will get the same benefit in semi’s v Germany. Expect framce to get hammered by US in finals.

What happened to the “superstar” Murray – die is overrated
OMG Cad choked big time. Gobert was on the bench for most of the game, credit to the French coach. SGA missed many FTs. Murray and the rest and the team, except SGA, were playing like headless chickens. Raptors won't win anything with Barrett and Olynyk. You can't blame the ref if you go down by 20 and then loose by 9.
They always seem to under perform in basketball .. even qualifying for the Olympics is an adventure ..

The 1st quarter looked like professionals playing against high school students. I personally thought Canada would win this game. But boy, was I wrong. The Canadians were not prepared for this. Wemby only scored 12 pts and Canada still lost. We'll see what happens next Olympics in 2028.

Really disappointing. They clearly weren’t ready for the moment as they didn’t match the intensity France predictably would have in the 1st quarter. Everything that could go wrong went wrong.

We used to be humble. We would respect the other team and at the same time go out and give 100 percent and play as a team with the desire to not give up until the end. That's what playing for your country meant. Now we have a bunch of guys trash-talking everyone on the court and playing as individuals. I'm glad we lost. Have a slice of humble pie Canada.

Everyone wants and expects the USA to win it all (which they most surely will). But, i like to go for the underdog and and Germany are the defending champions and i think Germany or France will be in the finals with USA. Now that Canada is out of the mix!
As a canadian, i am shocked, to say the least, but l, hey, you can't win em all, and they played and had a pretty hard schedule/matchups.
Gotta be more prepared for the next time around! 3-0, to go out with one loss! That's a hard one to take.
Canada played great. Just blew it all getting to the QFs and underestimated France!
France won most of the 50/50 balls and moved the ball a lot better than Canada. The coach didn't make any adjustments..Canada played like in the NBA, they were stagnant on offense, with 4 guys watching the one with the ball try to go 1 vs 1..with the occasional high pick n roll…I was afraid that this was going to happen..having a full NBA roster in international play has its drawback..unless you are overwhelmingly more talented, like the USA. Very disappointed, I was hoping for at least a bronze medal.
They are so bad.. Ashamed to be Canadian
