Sims isnt that guy, he may have shown flashes here and there but a soild reliable and impactful back upis left to be seen…but if he does breakout thats a win for him and us for sure…just cant bank on that.

Ok if Mitch is healthy but still shooting <60% from the line and Sims and Achiuwa are holding down the Backup C position…will the Knicks gamble and not trade for a backup Center that they feel comfortable playing key minutes in the playoffs? They will make a trade for a proven Center by the deadline. I’m ok with waiting until then.
If you're in the NBA and can't consistently make a 6 ft jump shot … … smh. Should NOT be a conversation.

It'll be Sims season 1 (no injuries) with a shot! To me, what was weird was how Thibs highlighted Sims last season coming out of camp. Sims does need to show. Sims was part of the big draft, with Grimes, and Deuce. First time Summer League was dope for the Knicks. Can't wait for the new season!
Practicing rebounding and being a force defensively is what is needed, not jump shots. Someone needs to replace what Hartanstein left behind. Why are people disregarding this and loving a jumpshot in practice…ridiculous.

Precious will have a breakout season. Charles Oakley 2.0. He is playing for his bag and for his respect. I'm definitely hoping that Jericho Sims has a breakout season. He's an incredible athlete. If he improves his mid range shot and defensive awareness, the Knicks will dominate the nba. Let's go Knicks. I think that this is the team we're going with.
Sims and Hukpolti have an advantage over Precious Achiuwa – size. I don't want Achiuwa as my backup 5. He should be backing up Randle at PF. I would love to see the very athletic Sims take the next step. There are two thing he should have learned from watching Hartenstein: 1) How to pass out of the post. 2) how to hit a baby jumper or develop a floater in the paint.
Stop being so credulous of everything Fred Katz says. Think Thibs' n Leon told him this? No NBA org is so secretive about its plans. I read him everyday and he clearly has an agenda against Jericho and always stresses the negative without mentioning the positives.
Think nothing speaks louder than our hiring Mark Bryant. This is clearly meant to support Jericho's game, meaning Thibs' n Leon believe in him (as they did Duce!).
