Peak Offseason: Let’s Fill This Chart With Players From Warriors History. Day 1: Most Underrated Warrior

Inspired by r/nbatalk, I thought it would be fun to look back at Warriors history, and create our own version of this grid.

So let’s start with day 1, who do you think is the most underrated Warrior of all time?

    Jarret Jack

The young squad lacked on-court toughness and self belief before he arrived. He was instrumental in getting them to see what they were capable of becoming.

  2. AggressiveRegret

Livingston is the correct answer but Mo Buckets is a good one too

  3. Striking_Skirt179

Relative to the all Warriors players, all time? Or just underrated in the modern NBA? My answer would probably be Kevon Looney either way.

Dude accepts his role, no fuss or issues. One of the most humble dudes of all time, and one of our best defensive strengths in the second unit for a big stretch. When the Jones injury happened, he produced well for what was expected of him.

He deserves credit and it’s not going to come in any other category, so I’m throwing it out there.

Antawn Jamison, dude was the only saving grace of some horrible teams and it’s not his fault he was a swap for Vince Carter.

  5. Sufficient_Space_453

with the way the sub shits on steph sometimes imma say steph.
but my real answer is jason richardson, fun answer is ian clark.

Despite his incredible accomplishments, could see an argument for Draymond due to how loud his detractors are and his style of play.

  7. bibliomaniac15

David Lee was our first all star in 16 years, but I feel he’s been overshadowed because of the dynasty that he only caught the first year of.

  8. I’m prepared to be downvoted, but I’d say it’s Harrison Barnes. You’d think he was an absolute bum for how he’s talked about…. Not that it’s unwarranted considering his last 3 games with the team could qualify him for the top right square, but he was a very important player for the team

  9. Dickin_son

Antawn Jamison. Top 50 all time scorer and one of the few bright spots during some bleak years in the late 90s and early 2000s. Also made a couple all star games, although not with the Warriors.

  10. daygofuego

Marreese ‘Mo Buckets’ Speights. I feel like he’s not given enough credit for the scoring he provided in that first title run

  11. numba-1-stunna

Bogut is completely forgotten about in those 2014-16 squads

  12. Individual_Scheme_11

Dorell Wright. He laid the tarmac for the Great One

  13. dan_bre_15_2

It’s a tough choice for me, but I have to go SDot.

  14. MrProfessorMD

Mikael Pietrus was an absolute sniper from the corner. Monta Ellis carried our team for like 3 years with 0 help around him, and Jason Richardson was a constant all star snub because of how loaded the west was in those days.

  15. _-synapse-_

Maybe not before but for all the new fans… Sprewell. David Lee was one of the foundations for all of our rings. No one talks either. Someone else commented Livingston. That’s another

  16. steronicus

Speights, Otto, Lee, Andre, Livingston, Jamison

  17. cholula_is_good

Monta Ellis was the face of the previous Warriors era of mainly losing, but he was still a legit player.
