Chris Hines with the well deserved Director of Player Development nod. I believe he’s been Ant’s primary individual coach since he was drafted. Losing Joe Boylan to Memphis was tough but I have faith in Hines to keep the wolves exceptional player development going 🙏

A few familiar names were promoted, but I did think it was interesting that Chris Hines has been promoted to Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development. I know he’s been Ant’s direct player development coach since he was drafted, so clearly there’s something there. Development is a two way street and Ant seems incredibly coachable, but he seems like he’s doing a hell of a job either way. I also thought he did a really good job coaching the summer league team, that’s not an easy team to coach and even though he had talent to work with, he got them to buy into a larger defensive concept.
I find this stuff interesting, coaches tend to move around fairly often and it looks like a lot of these guys have been involved in the Wolves organization for years. Quite a few names there were involved with the Rio Grand Vipers too, which is where Finch and Rosas got their NBA starts.

I like that they put the pronunciation after that one guy’s name, as if we don’t all speak French after Rudy joined the team
