Porzingis has been injury-prone his entire career why would you want to keep somebody that's iffy. We literally made it through the NBA playoffs and mostly the finals without him. He definitely needs to be replaced.
This guy is leader and actually accepts his responsibility on the Celtics part of a working speed boat.
There's no way the Cs trade KP this soon after winning a chip. The Cs can live with him missing 30 games a season as long as he stays on the $27-30M price range. He just makes the team better when he's on the floor. And for Dillon Brooks? For Lauri Markkanen, maybe. But if the Cs can keep KP relatively healthy and he plays 50+ to 60+ games a season with the impact and production that he had last season, KP being traded is not going to happen. At least not this coming season.
KP has been injury-prone for years. He's great when he's on the court…like PG, like Kawhi. The Houston trade made me laugh.

With Porzingis on the floor , the entire NBA has no answer for this lineup. Porzingis is lethal down low in the paint, he can shoot the 3s, and he can block shots and rim protection. He was the missing piece that brought the 18th banner to Boston. Trade him and then do what with ? Go and find another big ? No chance they will trade Porzingis ! Not for the next 5 years. The key is to keep him healthy for those games that matter!
