KD: “One of the best games I’ve ever been a part of. The 4th qtr dominance that we showed…we barely called plays, we just played off of each other well. It was a lot of nonverbal actions out there. Guys just knew where each other were going to be on both ends of the floor. It was special.”

This further supports the “they stopped listening to Kerr and embraced Melo’s shouts of ‘ISO! ISO!’” agenda

  2. mr_katakuri

‘Best team i have ever been a part of’🔥 . He got emotional at the end, you can see how much it means to him

  3. HamSandwichRace

KD is describing his basketball fetish

  4. mmaguy123

Random basketball takes a dub! Let’s go budenhozer.

it was a lot of LeBron in the middle still calling out plays, but it was simple basketball, i remember in the heatles days where he said something to the effect of why do we gotta banana cut into a v cut into an apple cut for a fucking post up? set me a screen and that’s it, that’s kinda what it felt like, simple plays, let the talent do their thing, play defense

that Steph 3 for the lead, Embiid wanted it, LeBron looked at him like nah set the screen for Steph

and it was a lot of KD/Steph screens on the right side

    Fucking Awesome.

MJ said similar, but bit different about the Dream Team ’92.

Said the scrimmages were the absolute best games he’d ever played. All high level players playing ball, shittalking and competitive AF.

No cameras but they were out for blood trying to prove themselves the best.

Coach Daly would anxiously pace because he was worried there would be injuries because they were playing for pride and trying to murder each other lmao.

    Malone after scoring,

*”You ain’t nothing, Barkley, you ain’t nothing!!”*

When team MJ scored (MJ played PG while Stockton was recovering), Magic:

*”You gonna let that happen?! You gotta get him back! You go get him back!!”*

MJ to Magic and Bird, *”It’s my league! You brought it up but it’s over now! Your time is over, it’s my turn now!”*

    Fucking awesome.

And playing ‘proper’ organic ball, with the right cuts etc, not set plays.

I legit think if KD had a chance to join another super team he would. Why? We’ve always known he absolutely loves the game of basketball ball. On the court and all of its complexities. On a super team he gets a chance to play with other guys who see the game the way he does.
Watching these games has been a huge amount of fun. Watching the players friendships and love of the game is infectious. It would be crazy to see team USA if they had 2 years to practice together.

  8. plakio99

Did he just say “God talking through him tonight” about Steph? Around 3:10.

    That goes HARD AF.

  9. lololyouthought

So Melo really did call that play lmao

  10. jus4in027

KD sounds like the sort of person that listens to jazz (music)

  11. No-Presentation6616

The guy whose name he couldn’t remember was Aleksa Avramović. He couldn’t miss from 3 in the first half, also fist bumped Curry mid game which was pretty cool.

  12. JeanRalfio

It was certainly one of the most stressful games I’ve ever watched.

I had hope they would pull it off the whole time but it took so long to close the gap.

  13. Js_On_My_Yeet

That 4th quarter was crazy. I legit started to lose hope at the end of the 3rd. When crazy when they took the lead. I fucking love this sport so much, but probably not as much as KD.

  14. arcelios

If TEAM USA always had this lineup, every FIBA tournament would’ve been legendary. Basically “USA vs the World”.. Crazy marketing opportunities..

But this is probably LeBron’s last run. Curry and KD might be gone too. Nothing would ever be the same

  15. remotecontroldr

    That was beautiful.

Love listening to KD talk basketball. He loves it so much.

  16. enemycap420

I hope this rejuvenates the pride the players should have to play for team USA. It feels like sometimes the guys totally take the Olympics for granted bc we are expected to dominate every game.

  17. rascaltippinglmao

Really enjoyed listening to his comments but imagine they lose to France 😅

  18. Blizzcane

This is the super team of his dreams lmfao

  19. FalcoLamborghini

KD gave crazy respect to Curry

“It was God talking through him tonight”

KD always so chill, respectable, and keeps it real.

  20. -super-hans

Screw everything else. Lebron and KD need to force their way to Golden State or something so we can see these 3 together more

  21. GuessTraining

This is the superteam he wants to be part of. No play calls, just playing with other superstars for easy ring.

  22. Is this the first time with 5 former nba MVP on the same court?

  23. barktothefuture

“Do his ass” basketball. It beautiful

  24. dubler2020

Durant is a legend. Enjoy him while we can.

  25. InRustWeTrust

When KD finally got it going in the 4th and was hustling his ass off on both sides of the court that shit was special to watch. Legacy points added.

  26. PanicOffice

I was watching the 4th quarter and was like wait are there 5 MVPs on the floor at the same time??? This is nuts!

  27. WisdomMan11

May sound dumb but those who know.. it’s like when you play a very high level pick-up game where most if not all players are very good high IQ players. Very solid, smooths, flowing play. So much fun.

  28. MrIscariote

the last 10 secs of this interview, man hits you hard on what we’ll miss for years to come 😭

  29. Nightmannn

I want to say this from the bottom of my heart. I hate haters of KD

  30. RonySeikalyBassDrop

You can almost feel his sadness about them having to go their separate ways after the Olympics in this interview
