  1. What will be in next olimpics? No Steph, no Lebron, no KD, no AD? Only A.Edwards who fill his shorts tonight, Tatum who cant play and Booker who was solid. I think this year is the last year for USA wining gold on olimpics

  2. How about you talk about how pathetic this performance was from Team USA?

The contrast between international basketball and American basketball couldn't be much clearer after yesterday. On one side you have proper teamwork where the ball is moving and almost every Serbian player is touching the ball, making screens or making runs before a shot. And then on the other side you have team USA.. just standing around clueless waiting for the next 1v1 situation or a lucky fastbreak opportunity.

3 of the best coaches in the NBA, and probably 3 of everyone's top 15 players of all time, and this is what you get?

As a NBA fan, this is worrying to see, and it makes you wonder what is going to happen to this game going forward.

  3. США должны сказать спасибо судьям, что они затащили игру в клатче. Два-три свистка в пользу сборной США были совсем не по делу, но именно они определили исход игры.

  4. That was a good game. Gutted that we didn't win it in the end (as I'm obviously Serbian) but I never expected it to be this close. We knew that to win we would have to be hitting everything, make next to no unforced mistakes and that by some miracle most of your team has a bad game. This perfect storm almost happened and we are now sad cause we lost but if we are being totally honest, we were making shots we had no business making most of the game. It's hard to ride that wave all the way to victory. We scored 15 3s. There's not much more that we could have asked for. Sure there were some dodgy calls that we feel may have pushed you guys back in to the game but again, that is all part of the game. Realistically, if we play you a 100 times, you win 99 times and one is a 50/50 game. That was the one. Gutted really but GG. Steph showed his class.

  5. Referees have pushed this USA "all stars" team to the finals… YOU DID NOT DESERVE IT !!!!!! SHAME ON YOU USA !

  6. Is very sad only talking about the those 3 steph bron n kevin, while the best defensive player in 3 n 4 quarters was devin booker who closed their best shooters bogdan n Nr 31 who was hitting 3s

  7. Idc, if I’m JT, I’m taking that Gil Arenas approach come the season and I’m dropping 50 on everybody! You can’t tell me Antman, D White, and Holiday can check in for at least a minute and not JT. That’s crazy! Good team win, but come on

  8. These dudes holding off on giving Steph his flowers Incase it over shadows their saviour 🤦

  9. 4th Foul on Jokic +3 pointer counting…..learn rules reffs (u payed them well) and durand pushed ball over half and they call it on Bogdan?….u think u would win without this reffs ?:)

  10. Nick just don't want to give Embiid props because he hates Philly 19 pts. He had more then Lebron

  11. Not a fan of the way the guys are framing this win, saying the old guys "were able to bring it home". As if this was a close game throughout. Team USA looked done for a long stretch and it took a herculean effort, particularly by Steph, to even stay in the game for the first three quarters. Now credit to Team USA, they did get it done and were awesome down the stretch.
But if the six-point play doesn't happen or Jokic or Dobric hit their wide-open threes, then the outcome would have been different. Some luck and some mental lapses by Serbia were definitely needed.
After saying "nobody can beat this team" for weeks a little more humility would have been welcome.

  12. As a european it is a funny to observe how the American sports media and public are always discussing individual players and not team success. Jayson Tatum had to sacrifice for this team, that doesn’t change his abilities and accomplishments as a player. I think that’s one of the reasons why the NBA has made so many rule changes favoring the offense because individual statistics get even more of the spotlight and more highlights are produced. US basketball in my opinion is mainly marketing of an entertainment product that has a need for „stars“ while international basketball is real competitive team sports. All the others very good teams at the Olympics have guys riding the benches: Serbia, Germany, France, etc. those guys on the bunches are not bums, they are great players. And when they are called upon they will be ready and do their jobs, just like Tatum would. They know that these competitions are not about individual accolades but recognize it’s all about TEAM success and representing their nations. Doesn’t change the fact that in league play they are very capable and play much bigger roles or are even star players themselves. I often laugh at the fact that in America even players on nba teams are labeled as bums or busts while the average fan has no regard that they are all very capable athletes because otherwise they wouldn’t make it to the league. Same goes for the players that go professional overseas. Every basketball pro should be held in high regards just for the fact that the get to this level. But of course that isn’t media relevant. I bet Jason Tatum is more mad at American sports media and fans eating the hype about his role on the team than he is at coach Kerr.

  13. it's exhausting to listen to non player yapping about the old guys having a close game with serbia.

  14. Having min 10/15 best players in the world on your team and you barely beat small nations like Serbia with only 1 world class player, it's pure embarrassment for NBA or it shows how american players and NBA are highly overrated

  15. If there’s one concern after today is that, who’s gonna lead the next team USA. Your oldest players have been the ones still leading and backpacking the team to wins. It’s also important to look at intangibles and see how effective everyone is
