It was actually really interesting to watch beyond the whole âwhoâs better than whoâ stuff. Jokicâs scoring aggression dropped dramatically with Embiid in, he basically only tried to drive and score when the shot clock was running down and he needed to create something. When Bam and AD were in he went right at them most plays and drew fouls. But itâs not like Jokic wasnât effective with Jo in, he just really operated as a distributor, getting his guards pull up 3s off screens since Joâs in a slight drop and staying pinned to Jokic (until they starting switching late game to nullify this). Theyâre just always an amazing, amazing matchup to watch, two true titans and all time greats with really different skill sets and style

Jokic is totally the type of elite defender that Embiid is scared to go at until he has 4 fouls.

Embiid dominates every matchup vs Jokic. Now 8-2.
His kryptonite is thick centers who can actually defend, like Gasol, Horford, Adams.
Luckily, while Jokic is thick, he is a terrible defender, so Jojo will dominate everytime.
