    Iā€™m actually surprised Carmelo hasnā€™t

Surprised KD never scored 35 in an Olympics game

Man, sometimes I forget exactly how baby-faced he was in college. Dude looks about 12

  4. I hate these kinds of play with the numbers posts, Steph is one of the greatest and it has next to nothing to do with scoring 35 in these different venues.

Luka has a 46-point Olympic game, and obviously plenty in the NBA. He never played in the NCAA, but of course he would have had such a game if he did.

Also, probably the greatest player never to play in the NBA, Oscar Schmidt, would easily have done this. In 1988, he AVERAGED over 42 PPG in 8 games in the Olympics.

Not to diminish Steph’s accomplishment, but the uniqueness of the college game in America pretty much excludes a great many international players from consideration.

In today’s one-and-done college game, soon probably going to zero, it’s unlikely anyone ever will repeat this feat.

Do we really need posts about such meaningless stats?
