He was the difference-maker in this game. Embiid has always matched up well against the Joker. Steve Kerr is not using the players according to their strengths and matchups. Not s fan of Jason Tatum, but he should have played together with Holiday. They play well together especially on the defensive end.

I am a huge Embiid fan and very happy to see how he has stepped up in the last two games and I hope these Olympics in crucial moments gives him both the experience & more importantly the confidence in winning pivotal games, especially if they secure the GOLD… However, I'm not just putting on rose-colored glasses & I WIL also point out the cons as I did not like how he was getting out-rebounded on the offensive glass the entire 4th qtr as being the big man that is his job in properly boxing out and grabbing those boards!!! I guess I'm still traumatized from Knicks series with respect to the boards!!!

This next game is gonna be huge for Joel. The French fans will boo him out the gym. It will be interesting to see how he handles the jeers of the fans, and the pressure of helping to secure the Gold for the USA. If he steps up and dominates, it will give him a huge boost in his confidence for the remainder of his professional career. It's time he walks through the proverbial door.
