MJ felt he needed to earn the leadership status after being out for 2 years. The 96 Bulls were never truly Pippen's team. This video highlights what true leaders do. Pippen never had to tell the world the Bulls were MJ's team. Because we knew it. Pippen needed encouragement, he needed support and he wanted public recognition.
