I have to admit I was so low on toumani despite him being really good on defense for like half of the season, now he is probably my favorite player on the roster
SlamDunkleyKong
Ayton cuz I’m a sucker for great defense and mid range jumpers. Plus I have a soft spot for guys who were scapegoated for no reason.

Toumani
When I made my 23 big board , I had Camara as a late first rounder/early 2nd and was one of my fav players in the draft. When he got traded to Portland I was so hyped.
RickTheMantis
Camara because I love effort, defense, and rebounding.
Noah_g99
He might not even be on the roster by the end of the season but rn it’s Anfernee Simons for me. He’s a lot of fun to watch and gave me a real glimmer of hope for the team post-Dame when he first started coming on.
Rancesj1988
DC because I’m a fan of grit & hustle type players.

Jerami Grant & Anfernee Simons, how much time I got left with them?

As someone who absolutely loved Batum when he was here, i have a feeling my favorite player next season is going to be Deni. I love me a jack of all trades/swiss army knife archetype with size.
For now though, its Ayton. I loved what he brought on a nightly basis for us last season post all star break. He kept the games watchable for me.

Shaedon Sharpe and Jabari Walker. Toumani is a distant 3rd
raginsk8tr
Jabari Walker for me. Pure hustle and not afraid to get dirty. Can’t ask for much more from a role player
SexDefender27
Toumani, Scoot and Deni are my faves going into next season
Matisse! I just love his defense and how he always knows where to be to throw off the other teams offense. And his off court personality seems so positive. I just wish he’d shoot the ball more because his shot looks good

Deni 🥰
Anyone with a stat profile like Gerald Wallace excites me

Sharpe. He provides me with more hope for the future than anyone else and he has a nice smile.

Dame duh…what
tomhalejr
I’m still not over the breakup. There’s no “replacing” Dame. I’m just not there yet emotionally. 🙂
I guess I’m most “excited” to see Deni and Shae next year. Ant, JG, and DA are established vets, and you know how they fit/work together. Now, what can Deni add, and what has Shae developed going into year 3?

Duop Reath is the man if he can’t do it no one can.
e: IAS, don’t really have a favorite but am Aussie so Reath and Thybulle (who I’m still salty not getting an Olympics gig) are up there. Still looking post-dame. Might be Clingan who I loved watching in college. Was big on Scoot last year and think he’ll be huge. Like Ant and Sharpe too.
BBG-Burnout
Rayan, because I’ve met him a couple times and he is genuinely a great dude. Also he is super scrappy and defensive minded and I think if he keeps at it he has the upside to earn a role in the NBA.

TBH I like most all of our guys, this is a team of likeable players, we have a lot of good personalities in the locker room and I’m a fan of most everything I’ve learned about who they are.
Thybulle is such a nice human being, Grant has been such a mature steady presence for all our young guys, Scoot has such an admirable work ethic and hunger or drive that you can see, Sharpe is so genial and silly he has that goofiness that makes you laugh watching him, Duop has had such a journey to get here and succeed beating the odds, RWIII is such an intelligent thoughtful person, Camara hustles so hard and oozes “that dog in him”, Clingan is such a team player you can tell already he doesn’t put himself before what is asked of him by the coach, Ayton has been so graceful about Clingan coming in and by all accounts has been great with the young guys, Walker is such a grinder you can tell he works his ass off, Kris seems like such a humble relatable person you can’t help but root for.
In terms of pure basketball, we really need at least one of Scoot or Sharpe to “hit” on their upside potential (ideally both) so last year I was certainly most vested in keeping eyes on their performance and likely next year will be the same. That being said, I really love guys like Clingan, Camara, and from what I have seen Deni will be in this category as well, gimme some defenders!

I’m going with Scoot. Hoping to see a nice leap this year with him. I like his attitude and he clearly puts in the work. Camara and Sharpe are close seconds.
